Created in 1976 at Monterfil (35), La Gallésie en fête has welcomed artists and musicians - both amateur and experienced - for more than 30 years. Always cheerful and convivial.

Les Rencontres Internationales de Luthiers et Maîtres Sonneurs

Traditional dance and music festival.

Instrument makers, concerts, dances, jams and a unique atmosphere, the 'Rencontres' has become THE unmissable event for traditional music and dance in Europe.
An exhibition of Lutherie which is unique, hosting 130 luthiers from all over Europe who come to present and sell their instruments: bagpipes, hurdy-gurdies, diatonic accordions, wind instruments, traditional percussion ...
Also featuring a program proposing around 30 concerts and dances, giving full voice to the diversity and richness of traditional music.
Various activities are offered during the day: initiation into dance, presentations of instruments, contests, children's ball, Apérosol, exchanges with the musicians ...

The 37th Edition from the 12th to the 15th of July 2011, at Château d’Ars. Festival opening on Thursday the15th of July at 19h. Lutherie exhibition : from Friday the 16th to Sunday the 18th of July from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Visiter le site

L'association Festi-Live
Created in 2004, the Association Festi-Live set itself the objective to organize festivals in the domain of the 'French song' and artworks created around a theme. The approach is primarily directed towards personal encounters, living together in our current society. It has a profoundly human goal. The association seeks to promote social cohesion through cultural activities, with special attention paid to the disadvantaged. This is why we offer a free festival for all the conferences, competitions and workshops.
The 2011 festival will be the 4th edition,
it is developing and maturing. The festival is climbing thanks to its new title.
« La haut sur la colline » ('Up there on the Hill')
More than ever, the festival wants to offer, in its magnificent 360° panorama, a festival of music and 'french song' of high quality.

Four days of encounters (from the 19th to the14th of August 2012) during which all possible participants will be invited to meet, confront, exchange music, learn instruments, impart knowledge, share a common passion, in short, have fun.

Fête de la Vielle à Anost

As in each year l'Union des Groupes et Ménétriers du Morvan (UGMM) organise the Fête de la Vielle en Morvan. The Fête de la vielle is a 'Citizen's' Festival : L'UGMM has decided to fix three objectives : inter-generational solidarity, popular and youth education, and the amelioration of 'living together'. In 2007, in partnership with the SACEM, a 'young talent' trophy was attributed to the best solo and duo acts. Balls and the open stage are an opportunity for musicians of all ages to play together and to regroup around a common repertoire. The UGMM is setting up meetings with musicians from other countries (in 2007, Spain and Portugal), other regions (Pays de Tulle, Country Niortais) but also different musical worlds.
